BYE ENGINEERING ANNOUNCES CONTRACT WITH ARROW INDUSTRIAL

DENVER CO, MAY 28, 2008:

Bye Engineering commenced business here recently with a focus on new technology aerospace consulting and alternative energy applications, announced signing a long term agreement with Littleton-based, Arrow Industrial.

Bye Engineering is teaming with Arrow Industrial on aerospace alternative energy applications.  Upon signing the contract with Arrow Industrial, George Bye CEO said, “Bob and his team at Arrow provide unique research, prototyping and machining capability.  We believe they are the perfect partner to help capture the exciting opportunities utilizing alternative energy in aviation.”  Bye Engineering’s preliminary analysis of electric power in hybrid automobiles, when combined with the latest advancements in battery technology, has progressed to the point where it should be evaluated for use on general aviation aircraft.  And the potential impact on fuel use is great.  According to the Department of Transportation, internal combustion powered general aviation aircraft burned 262 million gallons of fuel in 2006.  “What a great opportunity to reduce our petroleum dependency, cut emissions, and improve operating economics and performance,” said Bye.

Arrow Industrial, a Colorado-based machining company signed the agreement with Bye Engineering believing that the combination of alternative energy in aviation is a perfect fit for their mutual capabilities.  Bob Geoffroy, CEO at Arrow Industrial said, “We are pleased to work with George and his company on these alternative energy platforms.  We believe our manufacturing capabilities and aerospace quality system registrations are complementary to their innovation and engineering strengths.” 

George Bye was the founder of Englewood-based ATG and played a critical role in the design and development of the Javelin – a new high performance 2-seat very light jet.  He left ATG last fall to begin work on Bye Engineering.

ARROW INDUSTRIAL LTD ANNOUNCES PROMOTION OF KERRY FORDYCE TO VICE PRESIDENT OF MANUFACTURING

LITTLETON, CO, APRIL 28, 2008:

Arrow Industrial Ltd. today announced the promotion of Kerry Fordyce to the position of Vice President of Manufacturing.

Kerry has over 25 years experience in manufacturing roles across quality and plant operations within the aerospace industry at locations in Florida and Georgia. In his last role as QA manager for Arrow Industrial, he led the successful AS9100 registration.

“Kerry is a strong business manager who can use his experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, statistical process control, finance, leadership and safety to help us continue providing products and services that meet or exceed the expectations of our customers,” said Bob Geoffroy, President.

ARROW INDUSTRIAL LTD ANNOUNCES RECEIPT OF AS9100 REGISTRATION

LITTLETON, CO, APRIL 22, 2008:

Arrow Industrial Ltd. today announced formal receipt of AS9100 registration. AS9100 is the internationally recognized quality management system for the aerospace industry.

Bob Geoffroy, President, said “AS9100 registration will allow us to accelerate the excellent growth we have already experienced in aerospace industry manufacturing.”  “AS9100 builds on the foundation of our existing registration to ISO9001:2000 by enhancing areas such as material traceability, documentation, process control, etc. that are critical to the aerospace industry.” added Kerry Fordyce, QA Manager.
